Root to Rise: Grounding Rituals
A return to safety in your own body. These rituals are here to soften the tension, calm the noise, and reestablish connection with the present moment.

Place one hand over your heart, and one over your belly
Close your eyes. Take 3-5 slow, deep breaths.
With each inhale, receive. With each exhale, release.
Whisper "I am safe. I am here. I belong in this body"

5-10 minutes
Step outside. Stand or sit barefoot on the earth-sand, dirt, or stone.
Feel your feet sink in.
Imagine roots growing down through your soles into the ground.
Let the Earth hold you.

Close right nostril with your thumb
Inhale through your left
Switch nostrils, (close left with ring finger) exhale through right
Repeat slowly, continuing pattern.
Let your mind soften into balance
Let each breath bring you back
to where your feet met the earth.

Guided Meditation
A sacred space to soften inward. These meditations offer gentle guidance to regulate the nervous system, deepen self-awareness, and return you to the present moment, one breath at a time.
Anchor in the breath
Close your eyes. Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 counts. Hold for 4. Exhale through your mouth for 6. With each breath, feel your chest rise, then fall. Repeat for 3 rounds and return to present.
Body Scan
Begin at the crown of your head. Bring awareness to each part of your body. Your forehead, jaw, shoulders, chest. Releasing tension as you go. Breathe into any space that feels heavy or tight.
Self-Compassion Mantra
Place one hand on your heart. Whisper to yourself: "I am doing the best I can. I offer myself gentleness, not judgement." Repeat for 1 minute.
